The PLNZ National Forum is an annual gathering of library sector leaders and emerging leaders from across Aotearoa.


The following includes everything you need to register, plan your travel and accommodation, and make the most of your time at the PLNZ National Forum 2025, taking place in Christchurch on Wednesday 6 - Thursday  7 May.


The Forum begins with a pre-arrival reception at Tūranga | Christchurch City Libraries on Tuesday 5 May at 5.00pm. Please keep this in mind when making your travel and accommodation arrangements.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – PLNZ NATIONAL FORUM 2026

REGISTRATION
Registrations close at 4​.30pm on Friday 17 April 2026.
Registration is open to PLNZ members only. Discounted rates are a direct benefit of PLNZ membership.

REGISTRATION RATES (EXCLUSIVE OF GST)
Early Bird (Two-Day Forum, 6–7 May): $465
Available until 5​.00pm Friday 28 February 2026

Standard (Two-Day Forum, 6–7 May): $545
From 5​.01pm Saturday 1 March – 5​.00pm Friday 17 April 2026

One Day Only: $395
Valid for either Tuesday 6 May or Wednesday 7 May

Streaming Ticket: $455
One streaming licence per library service, shareable among staff within that service

PLNZ Gala Dinner: $115

PLNZ Gala Dinner – No Alcohol: $115

A cash bar will be available at the venue for this Social Event.
Complimentary registrations may be issued for guest speakers, sponsors, or staff at the discretion of PLNZ.

STREAMING TICKET CONDITIONS

Each library service is required to purchase only one streaming licence. This licence may be shared internally among staff but must not be distributed externally.

GOODS & SERVICES TAX (GST)

All registration and dinner prices are exclusive of GST.
GST is payable on all tickets at the prevailing rate, currently 15%.

PRIVACY

All participants must complete an individual registration form.

Information provided will be used by PLNZ for Forum administration and may be shared with exhibitors and sponsors. Registration is deemed consent for PLNZ to include your name, organisation, and email address in the delegate list, unless you advise otherwise.

CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS

Registrations and dinner tickets may be transferred to another person at no cost. PLNZ must be notified in writing with full proxy details.

If a transfer cannot be arranged, a refund less an administration fee of $100 + GST will be provided if written cancellation is received by Friday 17 April 2026.

No refunds will be issued after this date.

REFUNDS

Refunds are issued at the discretion of PLNZ.
If the Forum is cancelled due to circumstances beyond PLNZ’s control, registration fees will be refunded less any costs already incurred.

EXCEPTIONS

In cases of illness, required self-isolation, or other relevant health-related circumstances, a full refund may be considered.
